Which floor is the best option for heating system? This question has been asked thousands of times but no body can give a confident answer. In many cold areas, like Northeast of China, Russia, West Europe and some places in Canada are using heating system to improve the temperature in the room. Usually the temperature is nearly 22-28degree. So it becomes quite a problem of which type of floor to use, because most flooring are sensitive to high temperature or frequent temperature changes. For example, spc floor. Even its expanding rate is very good, about 0.1%, it expands any way under long term high temperature. The gap is very obvious in the center of room. After several testing, we found no dimensional changes from zero to fifty degrees. The result was amazingly same either we raised the temperature immediately or gradually.
